There is a small yet important update to Google My Business Pages users. The update brings a new utility to the app that allows businesses to add service menus to their Google My Business listings.
Google My Business Pages Gets Service Menu
The feature appears to be an extension to an existing feature that Google added to My Business pages. The feature allowed restaurants the ability to add food and drink menus to their GMB listings.
With new update in place, service businesses, including those in the health & beauty industry, can add menus to their GMB listings. Menu items will be organized in the list with just a name, description, and price for each item. Individual items can then be grouped into different sections.
To add Menu, businesses need to access “Info” tab in the Google My Business dashboard. Here is how-
Notably, businesses will only be able to use menu listing feature if they are not using third party menu listing apps. That means, feature is available to businesses whose listing is not currently connected to a third party menu provider.
