WhatsApp has finally announced its new app that’s ideally designed for small businesses. The app will allow them to connect with their customers effectively.

The WhatsApp business profiles have certain key features on board to identify businesses. These WhatsApp business App features include email address, business description, store addresses, and website; smart messaging tools like greetings, quick replies, and away messages; and metrics for how many messages were sent, delivered, and read.

In case you are using messenger app and business app separately, both WhatsApp Business and WhatsApp Messenger apps can be used on the same device and registered with your different numbers. The WhatsApp Business app can be used on WhatsApp Web, the app’s desktop web browser client.

The WhatsApp business App will be launched in India in the coming weeks, reports suggest. WhatsApp has been testing the beta version of the feature with select businesses across the world including BookMyShow and Netflix in India.

To recall, the business profiles on WhatsApp for business would be like the account info of a particular business carrying details such as a business description, email or store addresses, and website. This will tell users more about the company, its services, and products. Moreover, the app will also offer business review metrics to get insights about the number of messages and chats read.
