Samsung Galaxy Note8 Enterprise Edition Launched in the U.S. @ $994
South Korean tech magnet Samsung has announced the launch of a new enterprise-grade version of its Galaxy Note8 phablet at a price tag for $994 for the U.S. market.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 Enterprise Edition
The device, named Samsung Galaxy Note8 Enterprise Edition, would be available for purchase from today through authorized Samsung channel partners.
The phone is unlocked by default and comes packed with a host of apt enhancements including Samsung Knox Configure, which makes it easier for administrators to remotely configure and deploy devices across the company.
Using the enterprise edition of the phablet, admins can manage large batches of devices through a centralized OS and software version control system. They can also update every device in a fleet simultaneously.
The enterprise version of the Note8 will be exclusively entitled to receive more regular security updates for up to three years.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 Enterprise Edition was already launched in Germany earlier this month. The launch was made happen along an enterprise version of the Galaxy S8.
On price front, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 Enterprise Edition costs an additional $50 than what its standard version cost. Phablet’s future seems bright as extra security and management features would surely impress enterprises and SMBs to consider upgrading their existing phones to this.
