Google’s personal assistant Google Assistant appears to be a true competition to rivals Alexa and Siri.  Google keeps adding new features to its personal assistant to make it more power packed and innovative.

After making it capable to identify songs and control Chromecast, now Google is allowing Google Assistant to help users find local businesses, too. The Google Assistant Local Home Service Finder won’t only offer you a top list of local service providers in your area, but also, it will ask several questions to get the right nearby shop that fits your needs.

Unlike Amazon Alexa which gives a list to users of the best nearby restaurants and local services, the new Google Assistant has a questionnaire that helps it find specialists, like plumbers and electricians as well.

In some cities where Google’s HomeAdvisor and Porch service are available, the Google Assistant Local Home Service Finder will suggest businesses that have been pre-screened by the above. Otherwise, it will pop up suitable home service options in the area. The feature is going to hit the US users in the coming weeks.
