Xiaomi Mi 5X With MIUI 9 To Be Launched in India Next Month

Xiaomi, the Chinese phone maker is set to launch Mi 5X in India this September. Xiaomi’s India MD Manu Kumar Jain has hinted this news on Twitter.  His latest tweet via his official Twitter handle reads- “Can’t wait for you guys to check out Xiaomi’s first dual-camera phone in India. Coming next month.”

Xiaomi Mi 5X With MIUI 9 Is Coming In September

Though, the tweet didn’t say anything specific about about Mi 5X. However, when he mentioned dual rear camera in his tweet, we sensed the arrival mini Mi 6 to India as early as next month.

On specs front, the Xiaomi Mi 5X might have a full metal unibody design and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone that flaunts an all metal body and dual rear cameras is very similar to iPhone 7 Plus in looks.

Be it the 2.5 D curved glass on the front or antenna lines placement on the back, the phone resembles the iPhone.  The only difference it pose from iPhone 7 Plus is its fingerprint scanner placement. iPhone 7 Plus comes packed with a front-mounted fingerprint scanner while the Xiaomi Mi 5X flaunts fingerprint scanner on the back.

The phone is powered by a 3080 mAh powerful battery and physical capacitive soft keys on the front. The phone will be available in three color variants black, gold and rose gold (pink).

Moreover, the Mi 5X will hit the scene with a 5.5-inch 1080p display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Paired with 4GBRAM and 64GB of internal storage, the phone will feature USB Type-C for charging and data syncing.
