Xiaomi Announced Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air Laptop
After burying competition in smartphone segment six feet under, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is now focusing to tap the massive laptop market. With its latest announcement of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air laptop in China, the company has finally entered into the laptop marketplace.
Xiaomi Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air Laptop Launched
The 12.5-inch device, dubbed Mi Notebook Air would be powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and coupled with 4GB RAM and 256GB of native storage.
Weighing 1.07 kilograms, the Xiaomi Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air Laptop reportedly delivers up to 11.5 hours of battery backup. The laptop has been launched at a price tag of RMB 3999 that roughly translates into Rs 40,000.
This is first laptop from the house of Xiaomi. It’s ultraportable, ultra thin, all metal laptop and weighs 1.07 Kgs. The laptop features a 12.5-inch full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, 176 ppi pixel density, laminated display and edge-to-edge glass protection.
The Xiaomi Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air Laptop boasts of its 6th-generation Intel Core M3 processor and comes with 4GB DDR4 RAM.
On specs front, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12.5 is powered by Windows 10 Home Edition and features a 12.5 inch, FHD full HD.
The device has a 2.2 GHz processor on board. The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12.5 houses 4 GB DDR4 RAM for allowing users multitasking and offering f seamless performance.
On storage front, the Xiaomi Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air Laptop offers 128 GB SATA hard drive and 4 DDR4 RAM. The device is equipped with the advanced connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1,1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB Type C and HDMI. The device comes packed with an optical Drive Built in HD Webcam and SSD Expansion slot.
The Xiaomi Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air Laptop is limited to the users in the Chinese market. The company, however, confirms that in coming year we can see more Xiaomi products hitting the Indian stores.
Xiaomi is actively working on the consumer feedback to ascertain about the devices that users want Xiaomi to bring to India.
