Reliance Launches Reliance Lyf F1 Plus Smartphone With Jio Welcome Offer
Reliance has added one more specs rich smartphone in its Lyf series of smartphones. Dubbed Lyf F1 Plus, the device is said to be the variant of Lyf F1 that company released last week. The Reliance Lyf F1 plus has been priced at Rs 13,099 and will be sold via e-retailer Snapdeal only.
As expected, the device comes preloaded with Reliance Jio’s Welcome Offer that comprises a pack of unlimited HD voice and video calls, unlimited SMS (100 per day) till December 2016. With the Welcome offer, users may enjoy free 4G data, with a cap of 4GB per day, post which internet speeds decrease to 128kbps. In addition, users can also get free access to Jio’s apps like JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioXpressNews, JioSecurity, JioDrive, JioMags and JioMoney among others.
The only difference you can find between LYF F1 Plus and LYF F1 is its processor. While the LYF F1 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, the Reliance LYF F1 Plus uses a 1.6GHz Samsung Exynos octa-core processor. The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and features several key specs like a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.
On optics front, the smartphone flaunts a16MP rear camera with PDAF and EIS support, and an 8MP front camera for selfies. The phone houses a 3,200mAh battery. For seamless connectivity features, the phone includes dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, OTG and GPS.
The highlight of the phone is a video player that allows users to watch two videos at the same time. Smart Play feature stops a video when the user diverts from the screen, and Smart Ring that takes into account ambient noise levels and adjusts the ringtone volume accordingly.
