LinkedIn Reduces Its Membership Age Limit From 18 to 13.

LinkedIn, the renowned social networking platform for professionals would now be available to the teens. In an official note LinkedIn announced the reduction of the age limit for the membership from 18 years t0 13 years. The move enables teenagers to have their own LinkedIn account. For a caution, these profiles would be running in default mode by accessing least possible sensitive information. LinkedIn believes that it would be helpful for teenagers to distinguish their personal profile from professional profile. Recently LinkedIn offered higher education institutes a mechanism to create their profiles on LinkedIn. Currently LinkedIn has 20 million active professional profiles.
