Kerala Govt Fined Jabong And Flipkart For illegal e-Trade in The State
It’s shocker for the top e-commerce players specially Jabong and Flipkart. Kerala Commercial Taxes Department has fined e-commerce majors Jabong and Flipkart among other for facilitating illegal online retailing in the state of Kerala. The department’s intelligence wing has imposed the fine for the year 2012-13 and 2013-14.
In an official noting, the wing has asked Flipkart, Jabong, Vector-e-commerce and Robemall to pay fine of Rs. 47.15 crore, Rs.3.89 crore, Rs 2.23 crore and Rs 36 lakh respectively. Flipkart and Jabong are two premire -eCommerce players in India who give online buyers an opportunity to shop products online with deals and discounts.
