Google Introduced Twitter Into Desktop Search Results, Finally!!

Earlier this month, Google started experimenting with twitter tweets in its desktop results. Today, the company has officially announced its roll out. In May this year, Google had started showing tweets in its mobile search results and now it’s coming to English language searches on desktop.

An official from Google said that the feature is going to go live to all global users in English. Similar to the mobile search results, tweets will be displayed in a carousel in the main column of the organic search results. He added that tweets will only appear in the result if Google finds it relevant to the search query. A user may see the tweet or click the result without having any twitter account.
