Facebook Like, Share, Save and Follow Buttons Get A Revamped Design
Facebook, the social juggernaut has revamped its Like, Share, Save and Follow buttons. I hope you people have noticed it lately. If not, here is how buttons are changed now. Facebook’s most pampered ‘Like’ button is now updated with a new look. The familiar character ‘f’ and a bubble telling you how many likes a post has, is changed with the new button integrates thumbs up’ and like count into one icon. Needn’t to say, the era of like button with the ‘f’ has finally gone.
Facebook introduced the updated buttons to make them more compatible and friendly with mobile devices. According to Facebook, the original button designs were best for desktop devices, but the new era of mobile-first caused it to rethink the Like button.
Apart from making noteworthy changes to ‘Like’ button, Facebook is also redesigning Share, Follow and Save buttons as per the new design guideline. The character ‘f’ is remain there with Share and Follow buttons, while the Save button has the familiar bookmark icon. New buttons won’t be imposed if you’re already using the existing buttons on app or website.
The new updated buttons will come to instant articles in coming weeks. They will be placed at bottom of those pages and will count aggregate like, follow and shares.
