Yu Unveils Yureka S and Yunique Plus At Rs 12,999 and 6,999 Respectivaly

Smartphone maker Yu has unveiled two new handsets for the budget segment buyers. The devices Yureka S and Yunique Plus have been listed on company’s official website. The official announcement about their arrival in stores is yet to come.

Yureka S Features And Specifications

The Yureka S is a a 5.2-inch Full HD display smartphone with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC with 3GB of RAM.

On optics front, the device sports a 13MP rear camera powered by OmniVision OV13850 PureCel sensor, while for the selfie geeks, a 5MP camera with an 84-degree field of view has been given on front. The device offers 16GB of storage under the hood and sports a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 1.0.

The Yu Yureka S runs Android Lollipop v5.1.1 and comes with the company’s AroundYu service. IN addition to that, the phone also offers Wolfson audio codec and a Yamaha amplifier for improved audio quality.

Yunique Plus Features And Specifications

The Yu Yunique Plus is a device with 4.7 inch HD display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with 2GB of RAM. On camera front, the phone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

The device is packed with a 2000mAh battery that reportedly offers 7 hours of 3G talk time. The device runs Android Lollipop out of the box, however, the company is also giving users an option of Cyanogen OS 12.1.
