YouTube Has Added 15 More Languages To Woo Users Globally
YouTube, the largest video streaming site has added 15 more languages to its existing language list. This is YouTube’s attempt to woo more users to the channel.
With the inclusion, YouTube now supports as many as 76 languages. The new languages added to the list are Azerbaijani, Armenian, Georgian, Khmer, Burmese, Nepali, Punjabi, Sinhala, and Macedonian among others.
YouTube covers native languages of over 95 percent of its global internet users. When user chooses any of 76 languages, it translates the website links, buttons and text into the selected language. YouTube currently offers caption support for over 165 languages.
YouTube recently has made changes to its design and layout. Changes have been made to replace the solid control bar with gradient and rather simplified icons. Its menu design has also been changed. The existing animations have been tweaked for more subtle visual flair. The new YouTube player will also feature bigger and bolder icons.
