Xiaomi MI 10 Youth Edition Launched with 50X Zoom Camera
Chinese Tech giant Xiaomi has announced Mi 10 Youth Edition in China. The phone is said to be the upgraded version of the Mi 10 Lite. The phone that is designed for youth will be running on MIUI 11 out-of-the-box.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition is an exclusive addition to the Xiaomi’s Mi 10 lineup. The phone houses a power packed chipset, Full HD+ display and 50x digital zoom. The phone Mi 10 Youth Edition houses a 4,160mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging and is also certified for Quick Charge 4.0 and Power Delivery 3.0.
In terms of features, Mi 10 Youth comes packed with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with an AMOLED display panel protected by Gorilla glass. Phone display has a waterdrop notch cutout to house the front-facing camera. Phone’s screen has an advanced in-display fingerprint sensor for faster phone unlocks.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with 5G support and Adreno 620 GPU. Further on the configuration front, the handset has on board up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage< The phone runs MIUI 11 out-of-the-box that’s based on Android 10.
On photography front, the Mi 10 Youth edition won’t disappoint you either. The phone features a quad-camera setup. It comprises a primary 48MP camera with f/1.7 aperture and a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 12-degree field of view. Phone’s third snapper is an 8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and up to 50x digital zoom.
Finally the phone flaunts a macro camera with a minimum focusing distance of 2-10 centimetres. For high end selfies, you can spot a 16MP selfie camera sitting within the waterdrop notch on the front.
On price front, Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition has three variants. Phone’s 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant starts at CNY 2,099 (~Rs 22,500). Phone’s 128GB storage variant is available for CNY 2,299 (~Rs 24,700) and you can buy 8GB RAM and 128GB storage device at CNY 2,499 (~Rs 26,800). The phone goes on sale on April 30.
