With the update, WhatsApp v2.19.30 has brought new emojis categories bar that can be found inside the emoji bar of the app. In addition to that, the update also offers a new simplified way of adding new contacts in the contact list.
Besides these improvements, the Facebook owned messaging app is also working on Advanced Search option.
The feature is being tested and may surface soon for the rollout in iOS beta update. As it appears, advance search function will surely improve the search capabilities in the app.
A report surfaced in WaBetaInfo suggest that the Advanced Search feature will allow users to search between all the photos, GIFs, docs, videos, audio and links exchanged on the chat platform. Users will also have a Search history which can be deleted if needed.
Speculations are there that the WhatsApp is also preparing to roll out a Group invite feature to Android beta users only. The feature, as it seems will let users decide if they want to be added to any WhatsApp group or not.
To control who can add you to any group, WhatsApp is all set to introduce a Groups option inside the Privacy option.
The company is also moving ahead in a direction to introduce a new algorithm that would sort status feeds according to their relevance.
The algorithm will show status updates by evaluating several factors including who do you interact most with, whose Status do you watch more often or who posts Status more.
