Vivo S1 Smartphone Launched with 24.8MP Pop-up Selfie Camera

It appears Vivo is going miles to tap its mid range buyers. Latest launch of its Vivo S1 mid range smartphone is indicating that. The company has launched the phone in China with notch free display and a pop-up selfie camera.

Vivo S1 shows off impressive specifications span across its 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and MediaTek Helio P70 SoC processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage. The phone runs Android Pie out of the box. This is layered under Funtouch OS 9.

The phone Vivo S1 flaunts a 24.8MP sensor that pops out of the display. The phone packs a triple camera setup – 12MP+8MP (Wide)+5MP (Depth) on the back of the device. The phone also features a fingerprint scanner at the back of the Vivo S1 and houses a durable 3940 mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging.

Moreover, the Vivo S1 mod range smartphone comes packed with the company’s Jovi AI voice assistant which can be triggered using a dedicated side-mounted button on the phone. The phone has an in-built Game Turbo tech to enhance gaming experience for the gamers.

Vivo S1 Pricing:

The phone Vivo S1 has been priced at CNY 2,298 (Rs 23,525) and if reports are to be believed, it will go on sale in China starting April 1. Its India arrival is yet to be announced.
