Truecaller For Android Gets Auto Search Feature

In the latest update to its app (version 5.31) for Android, Truecaller has got an ‘Auto Search’ feature. This new feature will revolutionized the contact search on smartphones.

Using the feature, a user can identify any unknown number present on any online space say social media, e-mail and text messages. And they can search the unknown number without going into the app even.

Truecaller has announced the feature in its blog. The blog reads:

“it can be tedious to copy the number to identify it or even save it to your contacts. We want to get rid of that extra step of opening an app. So, we made searching, calling, texting, and saving the info absolutely automatic and carefree.”

To perform the search a user will need to copy a number from any app or at any place it’s stored. It will then trigger a pop up message on the screen with the contact’s information.
