Snapchat COO Emily White Resigns From The Post, No Reasons Stated

Days after photo-messaging service Snapchat got whopping $200 million funding from Alibaba group holdings, Emily White, Snapchat’s COO resigned from the company. White had been with the company for one year.

The company confirmed his departure but didn’t reveal why he left. White, a renowned industry figure joined Snapchat from Facebook Inc’s Instagram in 2014.
Prior to Instagram she was with Spiegel. Here she looked after company’s main operations, including sales and human resources.

She isn’t only who left Snapchat but in past two months two other senior executives also resigned from the company. They were sales chief Mike Randall and human resources overseer Sara Sperling.

Snapchat has over 100 million users and is considered one of Silicon Valley’s most highly valued startups so far. In January this year, the company extended its core service by offering videos and articles from mainstream media platforms CNN and ESPN.
