Skype for Mobile Gets ScribbleChat’s 3D Handwriting and animated Stickers

Your Skype experience goes to be more innovative with a tiny yet significant improvement to its platform. Skype brings 3D handwriting and animated stickers by integrating ScribbleChat, a platform known for humanizing the digital chat experience.

Skype ScribbleChat Integration Announced

As of now the feature will only be available for Skype’s mobile users but will be rolled out for other users in 2018, said Skype.

ScribbleChat was launched by, a software startup that’s behind over 200 authentic digital handwriting styles for business communications. Having big names like 1-800 Flowers, Hallmark, and Bloomingdale’s being its clientele, ScribbleChat is now looking at opening up its technology to the consumer side.

“The mobile communications industry has reached a point of stagnation, where emojis are no longer meeting our desired needs when it comes to expression,” said CEO and cofounder Eloise Bune, in a statement.

Currently, ScribbleChat has more than 1 million users. ScribbleChat is used worldwide on iOS and Android platforms. Its 3D handwriting and animated stickers are also very popular on chat platforms such as iMessage, Kik, Facebook Messenger, and now Skype.

Users can choose a handwriting style that they like. They can also change the color, paper background style, and animated text effect to further personalize their messages. As of now, the handwriting is only available in English.
