Samsung Lists Samsung Galaxy Tab A On Its Website


Samsung has officially listed Samsung Galaxy Tab A on its website. With the listing, the company has made the launch official. The device is a 7-inch variant of the tablet whose specifications were leaked just before MWC.


The listing has been made without the price, but if speculations are true, the device could be sold at a price tag of $188 USD. This price will be possibly for the variant with Wi-Fi. The version of the slate with both Wi-Fi and 4G LTE support may cost around $245 USD.

On the specifications front, the device is quite loaded. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A comes with a 7-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 800 x 1280 (WXGA). The Exynos 3475 SoC is under the hood containing a quad-core 1.3GHz CPU and the Mali-T720 GPU. The device will have 1.5GB of RAM, along with 8GB of in-built storage.

If you need even more capacity storage, a 200GB microSD slot is available for users. On camera front, the device offers a 5MP camera, with a 2MP camera in front for selfies and video chats.  Phone’s 4000 mAh durable battery allows users to enjoy 9 hours of  video streaming and 100 hours of music streaming.

Galaxy Tab a runs Android 5.1 pre-installed and measures 8.7 mm thick with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. It will come with Kids Mode, and will be offered in Black and White. The company hasn’t yet reveled the launch date.
