Samsung, the legendary smartphone maker has announced a new variant of Samsung Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The variant seems the latest upgrade to one that was launched with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. When launched, the company announced only one version of the phone. The device is already up for pre-registration in India, though its launch date is yet to be announced.
Galaxy S8+ Launched With 6GB RAM and 128 GB Storage

The latest variant is currently launched in Korea and will see a global rollout over a couple of months. On specs front, this upgrade to Samsung Galaxy S8+ is similar to its smaller variant except the storage and RAM. One with 6GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity will be similar to the base variant with 4G of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can further expandable up to 258GB via an external microSD card.
To recall, the device Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 6.2-inch QHD+ (1440×2960 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Infinity display being highlight of the phone. On optics front, the phone flaunts a12-megapixel ‘Dual Pixel’ camera on the rear side coupled with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a f/1.7 aperture. For selfie geeks, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter paired with f/1.7 aperture.

Both Galaxy S8 and S8+ houses 3500mAh battery and are powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC chipset. On pricing front, the base variant will be priced at $840, which roughly translates to Rs 54,000, while higher variant with the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage is likely to be priced over $900, which is over Rs 60,000.
