Alongside, users can now share a calendar or can accept shared calendar request from other Microsoft Outlook user. Microsoft cleared that existing shared calendars will not be upgraded with this rollout, rather, they will continue to sync only to Outlook on the desktop.
That means only those shared calendars that are accepted after the feature roll out will sync to mobile devices. Notably, you’ll able to sync shared calendar to your smartphone if the calendar is shared between users who are both hosted in Exchange Online.
Another limitation to the sync feature that the request of sharing invitation of calendar must have been done using Outlook on iOS, Android, and the web.
