LinkedIn Crosses 300 Million User Base

LinkedIn, your favorite professional social network announced that the website has reached a milestone of 300 million user base and among them 100 million are based in the U.S. In a press statement released on Friday, senior VP Linked said that by the end of this year the half of the LinkedIn’s global traffic will come from mobile devices. He further added that though this is a time of celebration and great news but LinkedIn has to make more milestones and professional opportunities for its user network.

The news has come fifteen months after the Linked crossed 200 million in January 2013. Among all the users of LinkedIn, 44% are women. The top five industries that LinkedIn represent IT Services, Hospital and Health Care, Construction, Education Management and Accounting.
