Lava To Launch KKT Ultra Plus Union Feature Phone At Rs. 1500


Domestic mobile handset maker Lava has announced its feature phone dubbed as Lava KKT ultra+ Union in an event at New Delhi. What makes the device a special one is its support to 22 Indian languages. The company has priced the phone at Re 1500. The phone has been launched under the government of India’s Digital India initiative.

The Languages that device will support are Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu including English. Using the phone users can send and receive SMS messages in all 23 languages.

Lava KKT ultra+ Union Technical Specifications And Features

On the specification front Lava KKT Ultra+ Union features a 2.4-inch display, 32MB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and a VGA rear camera. The phone sports a 1750mAh battery that delivers up to 18 hours of talk time. Interestingly, the feature phone is equipped with dual-charging port that let users charge the phone both with a thin pin charger and a USB charger.

Besides dual-SIM support, the feature phone is come packed with Bluetooth, wireless FM radio capabilities, an audio/ video player, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The feature phone will be available in Black and Grey colour variants.
