A new feature is almost hitting up the Google Map that would tell commuters the different landmarks adjacent to their destination. Recently, some Google Maps users started to spot audible instructions with the names of visible landmarks while they were on their way.
Google Maps Landmark Navigation Instructions
Engadget reports that the new updated feature would possibly be there in Google Map’s v9.76 that company began rolling out through the beta channel late last night. The feature seems one among the many efforts that tech giant Google is constantly working on to make Google Maps even more innovative.
The team behind the Google Maps is working hard to improve the turn-by-turn navigation experiences. Now, instead of playing back instructions with a direction and the street name for your next turn, the Google Maps will use the name of a nearby landmark.
