Intex Joins VR Bandwagon with Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ Smartphone Launch

Homegrown phone maker Intex has made its foray into virtual reality segment with its newly launched smartphone Intex Aqua VR+. The phone comes packed with VR Headset, 3D content and a range of other noteworthy features.

The phone, a Flipkart exclusive will be available at Rs 5,799 price tag in Champagne colour variant.  The Intex Aqua 5.5VR+ is a 4G VoLTE device and features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display powered by 1.25GHz Quad-core Mediatek processor.

On storage front, the phone is packed with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded by up to 64GB via microSD card.

For photography geeks, the phone packs an 8-megapixel snapper on the back, while a 5- megapixel camera for on the front for selfies, coupled with LED flash for capturing better selfies.

The Intex Aqua 5.5VR+ is Android Nougat 7.0 based phone and houses a powerful 2800mAh Li-Ion battery for long lasting experience. The phone comes pre-loaded with apps like Gaana and Vistoso.

While launching the device, Ms. Ishita Bansal, Product Head (Mobiles), Intex Technologies says,

The product promises to deliver high quality experience and satisfy all users. Moreover, Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ comes with Intex key pre-loaded features such as QR Code scanner which decodes the QR code automatically and shows the relevant information with buttons for the next steps to be taken. Another pre-loaded feature would be ‘Xender’ – a service that helps users transfer contacts, photos, SMS and files without burning data.
