Huawei Y9 is launching on January 7 in India

Huawei has announced that it’s launching its latest Huawei Y9 smartphone in India on 7 January. Indian markets. The company has started sending invites for the event that’s scheduled to be held in New Delhi. Amazon India has already been teasing the phone with ‘Notify Me’ button.

We have seen the invites and images of the Huawei Y9  that company has shared on Amazon. These renders suggest that the phone will have a notch and will feature new display technology.  The images suggest that the Huawei Y9 is a phone with 6.5-inch display, 4,000mAh battery, and GPU Turbo.

Moreover, the phone may also have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual rear and front cameras. The phone runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Going further on specs front, the Huawei Y9 (2019) has a 6.5-inch  FullView Display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.  The device is said do have the HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor on board with two RAM and storage variants.

Huawei Y9: Storage

The phone will be available in a 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant and the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.  The company may launch the phone in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Aurora Purple colors.

On camera front, the Huawei Y9 flaunts a dual camera setup on the back with 13MP primary sensor having f/1.8 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup supports HDR and can shoot Full HD videos at 30fps.

The phone even features a dual-camera setup on the front as well. Phone’s primary front camera has 16MP resolution with f/1.0 aperture, and the other 2MP sensor comes with f/2.4 aperture. Stay tuned for more on this.
