Google Plus Profile Links Nofollow, Google Tells Webmasters

This is a quite new trend that the users who have Google+ profile noticed recently. According to them it appears that Google+ has started ‘nofolllow’ many of the links found in their respective Google+ profiles. Barry Schwartz from Search Engine Land explained the event by saying if someone visits his profile page on Google+, most of the links in the ‘Links’ section seem to be ‘nofollowed’.  He added that although change might not visible in the ‘Story’ section of your profile yet it will certainly happen in near future.

Barry continues by saying that these links had have no value in the past for Google but as of now they are surely useless as ‘nofollow’ links hold no value in the eyes of Google. (Google plus Profile Links Nofollow).
