Google Assistant to Power Samsung Smart TVs Soon
It’s nothing new as tech conglomerates Google and Amazon has already integrated many of their products with their personal digital assistants Assistant and Alexa respectively.
Google Assistant to Power Samsung Smart TVs
Most of the high-end products including smart speakers, TVs, home appliances and headphones now have these personal assistants inbuilt.
Interestingly, Samsung is now joining the bandwagon now by powering their smart TVs with Google’s personal assistant. It’s astonishing in a way since Samsung has its own personal assistant Bixby installed on most of its mid-range phones. We have no clues why the South Korean tech giant preferred Google in first place.
Reports suggest that Samsung may integrate Google Assistant into its 2019 line of smart TVs. As of now, the Google Assistant will power the new TV sets manufactured by the Samsung. This is because Samsung has already integrated Bixby to old Samsung TV sets.
An announcement will likely happen in this regard as early as next month at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
