Facebook Brings Enticing Layouts for Multi Image Posts
Facebook’s eagerness to offer its billion users a more personalized experience isn’t a secret. The social network keeps experimenting with more engaging features for end users.
Facebook Tests New Photo Layout Options
After introducing colored backgrounds for text updates in 2016, the social networking giant tested different colored text and backgrounds for comments in 2017. Similarly, the platform brought videos and 360 options for profile cover photos last year.
How New Facebook Photo Layout Options Work?
Now, the company is seen testing another visual enhancement on the platform. Social Network’s reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong noted that the Facebook is testing a new set of layout options for multi-image updates to let users choose different presentation styles for their images based posts.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the feature will allow users to choose from four different presentation options for multi-image uploads within a single post. The feature even lets users highlight some featured images in the post or make a background colorful.
Feature Copycats Insta’s New Camera Update:
As always, this upcoming feature will be a handy one and will serve users fantastic user experience. The feature appears to be similar to Instagram’s new Camera Update that company recently launched. With the feature in place, Instagram brought some new templates for Stories frames. The templates crop up randomly when you tap on the dice icon at the top of the screen.
A Twitter user shared new templates named ‘Quote of the Day’, ‘Quickdraw Challenge’ and ‘What I’m listening to’ frames that users can fill in. These templates are introduced to accelerate user engagement on Instagram even further.
These features will help Facebook and Instagram bring more engagement. These trendy templates will be useful for brands and can help them stay in touch with their target audience in more personalized way.
