Facebook Spotted Testing 4K Videos on Its Platform
Facebook is ready to give a solid boost to your video viewing experience by allowing 4K videos that can be played on the platform.
A report published in Engadget claimed that Facebook is quietly testing Ultra-High-Resolution video uploads on its social networking platform that use the 2160p UHD-1 standard for both uploaders and viewers.
The feature is being tested with select pages and profiles. To know if your page / profile is eligible for posting / viewing 4K videos, click on the gear icon on the video, and switch to 2160p (4K) if available.
Facebook isn’t the only platform that’s focusing on 4K videos. YouTube as well rolled out its 4K video feature last year after several years of testing.
