Facebook Messenger Starts Supporting 4k Res Photos on Its Platform

Facebook owned messenger platform will now support 4K Resolution images on its app running on iPhone and Android devices. The feature has been rolled out for the users in the countries such as U.S., Canada, France, Australia, the U.K., Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea.

That means, messenger users in the above mentioned countries now can share with friends, family, and businesses images with resolutions of up to 4096 x 4096 pixels.

The feature will be rolled out in other countries over the coming weeks. You needn’t to tweak any setting to send 4K res photos to kith and kin. Just update the messenger app if you haven’t done it yet, start a conversation and tap the camera roll icon to browse through gallery to find picture to share.
