Now Order Food Right from Your Facebook App


That’s true. The Social network giant has rolled out its food ordering feature that allows food pickup or delivery right from the app.

On Friday, Facebook announced that they collaborated with several delivery services and restaurant chains to begin the service in full swing. The feature is being rolled out through Facebook’s iOS and Android applications, as well as desktop.

Way back, the Facebook was spotted testing this ability in May. The feature is now available throughout the U.S., claimed Vice president of local Alex Himel in a Newsroom post.

Delivery services that are part of the rollout are:

  • DoorDash
  • ChowNow
  • Zuppler
  • EatStreet
  • Slice
  • Olo

To order the food of their choice, user needs to click on Order Food in the Explore menu to browse food options and place their orders. If a restaurant they choose manages to offer multiple delivery service options, users can choose from among them.
