Dell Launched Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 Laptop in India

Said to be focused at its enterprise customers, Dell has launched its Latitude 7400 2-in-1 laptop for Indian laptop market. The company claims the device the “smallest 14-inch 2-in-1” laptop so far.

The computing device is loaded with ExpressSign-in, ExpressConnect, and ExpressCharge features and has been priced at Rs. 1,35,000 (excluding taxes).

The laptop sports a trendy 2-in-1 form factor and can be used in a number of modes including the regular laptop mode, tent mode, and tablet mode. What makes the laptop a ground breaking deal is its Titan Gray finish, a machined aluminium body and its diamond-cut edges.

If company sources are to be believed Latitude 7400 2-in-1 laptop is the first among those laptops that used world’s first PC proximity sensor, enabled by Intel’s Context Sensing Technology.

The sensor lets the laptop detect user’s presence and automatically wake up the system. Once the system starts, it automatically logs into user account using Windows Hello face recognition.

Dell terms this innovative feature ExpressSign-in. It also locks the system when it detects user leaving away the laptop.

Dell even claims that Latitude 7400 2-in-1 laptop can work uninterrupted for up to 24 hours in a single charge. The device is loaded with ExpressCharge feature that recharge laptop to 80 percent in just an hour.

Configuration and Specifications:

On specs front, the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 features a 14-inch full-HD touchscreen with 16:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5.  The laptop is powered by up to 8th-generation Intel Core-i7 processor, coupled with Intel UHD Graphics 620.

This ultra powerful enterprise laptop has under the hood up 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM, up to 512GB PCIe NVMe Class 40 Solid State Drive, and up to 78WHr battery.

Connectivity:

The laptop comes packed with two USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one HDMI 1.4 port, and one uSD 4.0 card reader as well. It’s packed with all standard connectivity options including dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with 2×2 MIMO antennas, Bluetooth 5.0 and 16 LTE support.
