Now You Can Create Polls On Twitter To Improve Engagement
Twitter is going to introduce a poll feature for the users that will allow them create polls and let others say their opinion. This is a solid attempt from the company to see more and more people engaged over Twitter.
By creating a poll, a user will ask a question with two choices as answers. The poll will be open for participation round the clock. In its official blog post, Twitter announced the news:
“Previously, we’ve offered a few ways to participate in polls — Tweeting questions and tracking replies, tallying hashtag votes, or asking followers to favorite or Retweet to vote. Now, you’ll be able to create your own two-choice poll right from the compose box and it will remain live for 24 hours. You can vote on any poll, and how you voted is not shared publicly.”
The feature was already in the testing mode with select Twitter employees and media professionals. The exact date of rolling out this feature is yet to be confirmed from the Twitter.
