Both the Note series smartphones are packed with Gorilla Glass 5 and quad rear cameras. While the Redmi Note 8 Pro packs a 64MP primary rear camera, the Redmi Note 8 flaunts a 48MP image sensor on the back.
Both the smartphones Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro will be available for purchase from Mi.com, Amazon, and Mi Home store on October 21 onwards. Let’s look at their features and specifications one by one.
In terms of specs and features, Redmi Note 8 seems to be the highly danced versions of the Redmi Note 7 or the Redmi Note 7S.
On specs front, the Redmi Note 8 features a 6.39-inch display that offers screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, the same processor we had seen in the Mi A3. The phone houses up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The device runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie and will get MIUI 11 update soon. You will find Alexa inbuilt. The Redmi Note 8 comes with built-in with Alexa app. On camera front, the Redmi Note 8 features four cameras on the back and single image sensor on the front.
Back cameras on the phone include a primary 48MP sensor, 8MP Ultra Wide lens (covers 120-degree), 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP Macro lens. For selfies and HD quality videos, the Redmi Note 8 contains a 13MP selfie shooter.
To power up the device, the handset has a 4000mAh battery on board with support for 18W fast charging support out-of-the-box. Phone’s 4GB RAM + 64GB variant is available at Rs 9,999 and its 6GB RAM + 128GB variant is available at Rs 12,999.

As per confirmed reports, the company is going to launch the phone in India on February 28. The launching price of the phone would be somewhere around Rs 10,000 in India.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 phones last month in China. The phone was launched in three variants with varied pricing accordingly. The price for the 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage model of the Redmi Note 7 was 999 yuan which roughly translates to Rs 10,500.
Phone’s second variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage was priced at 1199 yuan, roughly translates to around Rs 12,400 while the top-end model of the Redmi Note 7 phone with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage went on sale at 1399 yuan, roughly translates to Rs 14,500.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is said to be the first Note device from the house of Xiaomi with waterdrop notch and gradient finish on the back. The Redmi Note 7 is available in multiple colors in China and we can expect phone with different color variants in India as well.
