Now Accelerated Mobile Pages Are Coming To Google Image Search

Soon after launching Accelerated Mobile Pages for web pages, Google seems bringing AMP to image search results too. Seroundtable referred a screenshot that a twitter user shared with the team. The screenshot attached here is showing the AMP logo in the image search results and if you click on the result title, it takes you to the AMP version of the Pinterest site.

This proves how serious Google is about its Accelerated Mobile Pages project. After showing AMP for web pages, Google is now testing these results at one more place. Accelerated Mobile Pages are now available in the core mobile results, started in top stories and now in image search results.
